About This Position

We are seeking dedicated customer service representatives to assist members with non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services. As a trusted partner to state and local government agencies, including Medicaid programs, transit authorities, and school boards, as well as managed care organizations and hospitals, we deliver reliable, high-quality solutions to our clients.

Work From Home Requirements

This is a remote work-from-home position. You will need to provide your own equipment to perform this role:

  • Computer with latest version of Windows
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Professional headset with microphone

What You'll Do

Assist members with:

  • Transportation to and from appointments
  • Ensuring those waiting for a ride receive transportation
  • Resolving issues with previous appointments
  • Transportation recovery where a scheduled trip has failed
  • Benefits eligibility questions

Important Note: Given the nature of certain types of calls, some members may express feelings of distress, impatience, fear, or anxiety. This can pose a challenging situation to handle. However, the experience can also be highly rewarding - having the opportunity to provide valuable assistance to these members.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Navigate through multiple client systems by utilizing function keys to ensure accurate processing of ride transportation
  • Collaborate with various departments to effectively address and resolve transportation and eligibility issues

Requirements

Background Check

Must be able to pass a background check

Must provide your own computer with latest version of Windows, reliable internet connection, and headset

Training & Schedule Requirements

Mandatory Paid Training

Comprehensive training program provided before you start serving members

Minimum Hours Required

Agents are required to service a minimum of 15 hours per week during times posted in Starmatic and as outlined in the SOW

Monday Requirement

For this program, 8 of these intervals must be serviced on Mondays

Flexible Schedule

Work hours are flexible within the program requirements
